As part of my financial independence journey, I was determined to better visualise my wealth, save time constantly updating spreadsheets, and automate the process of tracking my net worth, I went searching for a net worth and portfolio tracker.

 

To my disappointment, I couldn't find one.

 

I found a range of platforms that would track stock portfolios, crypto portfolios, and property portfolios, but no single program that would bring these and other assets together to provide a comprehensive overview in a single place.

 

So, I created WealthViewer.

 

Originally built for my personal use, I designed WealthViewer to be an interactive personal financial dashboard designed to support me in achieving financial independence by growing and visualising my wealth.

 

Like many people, I have a diverse portfolio spread across a range of accounts and platforms. Its time-consuming logging in to multiple platforms and accounts to view the value of my stocks, crypto, and retirement funds just to name a few.

 

Once logged in to these accounts, it's difficult to visualise the values relative to one another, a pain to aggregate this data myself to get a comprehensive view of my wealth distribution, and even more difficult to understand whether my wealth is heading in the right direction.

 

I built WealthViewer to address these shortfalls in traditional finance platforms. Wealth Viewer provides you with more insights than you can possibly get from a 
spreadsheet and enables you to visualise your wealth and identify trends.

 

Moving away from the spreadsheets has enabled me to integrate live pricing across a range of asset types within WealthViewer so you can save time by not having to manually updated prices and values in your spreadsheet. Instead, you can instead sit back and watch your net worth change in real time.

 

These live pricing insights coupled with a range of charts, graphs and tables have enabled me to monitor, track, and visualise the performance of different assets enabling me to make more informed financial decisions.

 

I'm opening WealthViewer to the public so you can do the same.

 

At times I've found it difficult to both find and maintain motivation. I've made some updates to WealthViewer to support you in, fostering and maintaining good financial habits. Each month, WealthViewer encouragers you to update any purchases or sales of assets that aren't automatically tacked. In keeping your data up to date, you'll receive your personalised net worth report at the end of each month showing you your current net worth, value of each asset tab, and the change in value from month-to-month as a percentage and in your preferred currency to keep you motivated.

 

To support you in maintaining a long-term focus, WealthViewer will also send you quarterly and annual net worth reports so you can measure your progress over a longer time horizon.

 

Without Wealth Viewer I found it difficult to keep track of the performance and value of my assets, leading to missed opportunities to grow my wealth. I've found that knowing my net worth has significantly contribute to growing my wealth consistently over time.
